1. India Gate

This is a famous War memorial you can find at Rajpath, New Delhi. It is dedicated to Indian army soldiers who all were died in First World War. Red & yellow stone and marble were used for its construction and Triumphal Arch architecture style was used. Sir Edwin Lutyens is the man behind this great design.

2. Qutub Minar

This is one of the tallest structures in Delhi with the height of 73 meters with 5 storeys. This is a model of ?Minaret jam ?of Afghanistan. The construction of this tower was started by founder of Delhi Sultanate ?Qutb ud Din Aibak? and completed by his successors. This is a UNESCO world heritage site.

This Mosque was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the period of 1650 and 1656 and became one of the largest Mosques in India. This great Mosque attracts you with amazing architecture. It has three main gates, 4 towers, minarets constructed with red stone and marbles.

The architect behind this white marble structure is Furiburz Sabha and he chose lotus model because it shows the union of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam. 6. Rashtrapathi Bhavan

This is the home to the first citizen of India, The President. It spreads in 330 acres and the architectures of this building were Sir Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker. This is another UNESCO World heritage site in New Delhi. This beautiful structure reflects the talent of Mughal architecture in India. A popular Hindu devotional temple complex constructed by Birla family consists of many temples. This is also known as Laxmi Narayan Temple located on the West of Connaught Place. If you are an astronomy lover, you must visit here. It is located in Modern city of New Delhi with 13 astronomical instruments. Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur is behind the construction of this building. The purpose of this observatory tower was to convert the astronomical tables, and prediction of movements of Sun , moon and other planets.
