Aroostook State Park is the oldest park in Maine and is one of the highlights of the Maine North Woods. The park was established in the year 1938. The park provides campground and trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking. Near to Aroostook State Park is the Echo Lake from where canoeing, swimming, and fishing can be done.
