This park is famous for its towering old-growth redwood trees. The tallest tree in the Muir Woods is 258 feet. The park got its name after the popular naturalist John Muir. This is home to more than 50 species of birds, a variety of fishes, mammals etc and this is a part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. You can enjoy camping, hiking, biking etc from here.
