1. Lake Taupo

This is the largest lake in New Zealand by surface area and considered as the second largest freshwater lake in Oceania. 2. Waitomo Caves

3. Wi-O-Tapu

There is a geothermal pool called Champagne pool inside the Wiotapu geothermal region. The pool has a lime green color due to the chemicals in the water. 4. Tongariro National Park

The highest attraction of this National Park is 3 active volcanoes made this place a popular tourist destination. The volcanoes are called as Tongariro, Ngauruhoe and Ruapehu and where Ngauruhoe captures in the movie "The Lord of the Rings". 5. Sky Tower
