Boston Marathon was conducting initially on Patriot's Day every year and later changed to 3 rd Monday of April, eventually called' Marathon Monday'.
2. Heartbreak Hill

This is the most challenging part of the Boston Marathon. The hill that sits between miles 20 and 21 of the race, just near Boston College. Covering this area is known as 'Hitting the Wall'.

9. Wheelchair Competition

10. Boston and Red Sox

At Fenway Park, every Year you can see that Boston and Red Sox conduct a home game at 11.05am to cheer the runners.
11. Bandits

There are non-registered candidates are too allowed to participate in this event after the registered runners left the starting point.
12. Boston Marathon Memorial

This memorial was built in memory of 100th running of the race at Copley Square.

Marathon running space is around 36,000.
14. Women Participants

Until 1972, women were not allowed to participate and later in 2018 45% entrance were allowed to women.
