This historical fort was built by the Spanish Empire in 1616. It attracts visitors with its classic Spanish defensive architecture. It looks in star-shaped and now functioning as a historical museum. This is a popular archaeological site in Acapulco. This is a UNESCO World site and meaning of the name is the place of the house of flowers and here you can find an amazing collection of pyramids and popular among them are Great Pyramid dedicated to the god Tlaloc and the Pyramid of the Snakes.
