2. Torre Tagle Palace
Address: Jirón Ucayali 363, Cercado de Lima 15001, Peru.
This palace attracts visitors with stunning architectural styles with the blend of Moorish, Asian, Andalusian and Criollo influences. This Spanish Baroque palace is situated in downtown Lima. This is home to the Peruvian Ministry of Home Affairs.
3. Plaza de Armas
Address: Plaza central Lima, Cercado de Lima 15001, Peru.
This plaza is situated in the heart of Lima. There are a lot of historic sites are situated nearby this Plaza. You can find an attractive Bronze fountain in the center of this Plaza. This is considered as the birthplace of the charming city of Lima.
4. Larco Museum
Address: Av. Simón Bolivar 1515, Pueblo Libre 15084, Peru.
This museum was founded in 1926 and this is a privately owned museum in Lima. You can find some of the largest collections of Pre-Columbian arts from here. The exhibits tell you the Peruvian history of more than 5000 years. Other attractions are Gold & silver galleries, pre-Columbian erotic pottery, etc.
5. Cathedral of Lima
Address: Jirón Carabaya, Cercado de Lima 15001, Peru.
This is Roman Catholic Cathedral and a popular pilgrim site in Lima located at the Main Plaza. This Cathedral is the best example of Baroque and Neo-classical architecture. It has gold-plated altars, 13 chapels etc and this church is dedicated to Saint John.
6. Huaca Pucllana
Address: Calle General Borgoño cuadra 8, Miraflores 15074, Peru.
This is a popular archaeological site in Lima. This was an important ceremonial center of the Lima Culture and you can find clay pyramids that were built from seven staggered platforms. You can also find a museum on this site with artifacts collected from this site.
7. Basilica and Convent of San Francisco
Address: Jirón Lampa, Cercado de Lima 15001, Peru.
This is a UNESCO World Heritage site in Lima. It is situated on the street Camana 170 and a popular pilgrim site for Catholics. The attractions in this site are hand-painted tiles from Seville, Last Supper painting, a library with large collection of books, explore Peruvian Baroque architecture, and a museum where you can learn the religious history of Peru.
8. San Cristobal Hill
Address: Cerro San Cristobal, Peru.
This is a popular natural attraction in Lima which is situated 400 meters above sea level. You can reach the summit through a bus from Plaza de Armas and hiking or walking is not advised. Once you reach the top, enjoy the panoramic views of the city.
9. Miraflores District
