1. Cadillac Mountain

Cadillac Mountain is located at Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island. This is the tallest mountain in Acadia National Park as well as North Atlantic Seaboard with the elevation of 1,530 feet. And another attraction is this is the point where you can see the sunrise at first from October 7 through March 6. You can enjoy a thrilling hiking over here during winter season as the roads would be closed due to snowfalls.
2. Jordan Pond

This charming pond is situated on the heart of Acadia National Park takes your attentions with its crystal clear waters and surrounding environmental beauties. You can engage yourself in Jordan Nature trail as well as Jordan Pond Shore trial. The pond was formed by the Winconsin Ice sheet during glacial period.
3. Sand Beach

Sand Beach is a favourite destination for visitors in Acadia National Park because of its stunning natural beauty and clear blue waters. During summer season, the water temperature rises up to 55 degrees and 300m long coastline it has. There is a popular hiking point which starts from the beach and you can enjoy sunbathing and there are changing rooms and restrooms near the beach.
4. Park Loop Road

Riding through 27mile Park Loop Road enables you to enjoy the best views of Acadia National Park. The thrilling drive starts from Hulls Cove visitor Centre and through the journey you can find lush forests, charming lakes, breath-taking mountains, sandy beaches etc. In the morning rides, you would be able to enjoy wildlife watching too.
5. Eagle Lake

Eagle Lake spreads around 436 acres and this is the largest fresh water lake in Acadia National Park. You can enjoy fishing and kayaking from here. There are lot many photographic spots you can find. You can enjoy the best scenery in this lake from its Western point especially during sunsets. You can enjoy a bike ride around the Lake through Carriage Road.
6. Thunder Hole

Thunder Hole is a small inlet made from natural rock carvings where waves roll into these rocks with a roaring sound. The reason is behind this sound is , just beneath the surface of the water there is a small cavern formed and when the waves arrives it collapsed with the air and makes the sound of a thunder. The water then splash into the air with the height of 40m.
7. Echo Lake
Address: Echo Lake, Mt Desert, ME 04660, USA.
This is the most beautiful Lake in this National Park and situated on the Western side of Mount Desert Island. This is a fresh water lake where you are allowed swimming. The water depth here is maximum of 66ft. This is a perfect spot for families especially for kids to enjoy.
8. Wild Gardens of Acadia

While visiting the wild gardens in Acadia National Park, you will be able to see the typical habitats of Mount Desert Island. There are nine display area of plants with a number of more than 300 species and are properly labelled for identification. The things you can enjoy here includes visiting Abbe Museum, Nature centre, benches for relaxing, there are hiking trials right behind this gardens etc.
9. Seawall
Address: Seawall, Southwest Harbor, ME 04679, USA.
This is a natural wall made with granite and loose boulder located at the Southern side of Mount Desert Island. This is the popular picnic area in Acadia National Park with parking facilities. You can enjoy the best views of sunrises as well as oceans from here. You will get chances to see crabs and star fishes often here.
10. Precipice Trail
Address: Precipice Trail, Bar Harbor, ME 04609, USA.
This is the most challenging and thrilling trials in Acadia National Park. Only experiences hikes are advisable to do hiking over here. This is located on the east side of Champlain Mountain. The Park will be closed during spring through mid-August due to the returning and endangered peregrine falcons that nest here so check with the National Park Service on this.
