1. Naples National Archaeological Museum

This is one of the largest archaeological museums in Italy and you can find the Roman remains over here. You can see number of artworks of Roman, Italian, Egyptian and Renaissance periods. It has some amazing marble statues which depicts the ancient mythology. It was formed as a cavalry barracks and later turned to a museum.
2. Mount Vesuvius National Park

This Italian National Park was established in 1995 and spreads around 135 acres which attracts millions of visitors with its natural beauty including an active volcano called Vesuvius volcano, rich flora and fauna. You can enjoy thrilling trials through the path of the Gran Cono with scenic views.
3. Nuovo Castle

This medieval castle was opened in 1282, one of the old castles in England with best scenic views. The attractions are large collections of Neapolitan paintings, armoury hall, the two-storey Renaissance triumphal arch at the entrance etc.
4. Santa Chiara Museum

This is a religious complex as well as an archaeological museum in Naples. You can find a monastery, tomb, chapels etc. Interior is decorated with amazing Gothic style architecture and later reconstructed in Baroque style. While visiting the museum, you can learn about the history of the church.
5. Basilica of San Lorenzo Maggiore

This is a popular pilgrim centre in Naples situated in an ancient Greek ?Roman city. This is located at the point where meets the San Gregorio Armeno and via dei Tribunali. There is a monastery as well as a 3 floor museum where you can learn the history of this church on the Greo-Roman periods. Most of the interiors were ornamented in Baroque style.
6. Via dei Tribunali

If you want to explore a historic site or old streets, take a visit to Via dei Tribunali. This was founded in 5th century and you can witness the stunning architecture of Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque churches over here. 7. Capodimonte Museum

This art museum is located in Capodimonte Palace, Naples. This is one of the oldest museums in Naples and you can find the art works of renowned artists and a large collection of Neapolitan painting. You can take a visit to the rooms of the palaces and there a beautiful garden to relax sometime.
8. Botanical Gardens of Naples

This botanical garden spreads around 170 acres and was opened to public in 1810. This is one of the oldest botanical garden in Europe and the main purpose is to preserve endangered species and their medicinal uses. It provides the research facility for University of Naples Federico II.
9. Ovo Castle

This is a harbour Castle and believed that it got its name from Roman poet Virgil and the surrounding coastal sceneries are really amazing. This is one of the oldest fort in Naples built in 1154, was a royal residence during Normans and the Hohenstaufen periods.
10. San Carlo Theatre
Address: Via San Carlo, 98, 80132 Napoli NA, Italy.
This was a monastery and now functions as an opera house. This is considered as the opera house in Italy. January to May is the best season for programmes over here with a larger seating capacity. It is said that most of the Italian Opera houses built later in its model.
