This is the central attraction of Helsinki. The church was built in 1852 by renowned architects Carl Ludvig Engel and Ernst Lohrmann. The Neo-classical style of architecture is very attractive for visitors. This church is built as a tribute to Tsar Nicholas I, Grand duke of Finland. It has a green dome in top surrounded by small 4 domes, a statue of Alexander II, Emperor of Russia infront of the Church, The cylindrical pulpit, and moreover the art and architecture is really worth to watch.
2. The National Museum of Finland

If you want to understand the history and culture of Finland, take a visit to The National Museum of Finland, Central Helsinki. You can travel from the Stone Age to present day of Finland. The architecture of this museum is the Finnish National Romanic style and function as a part of Finnish Heritage agency. The museum was opened in 1916 and the most attractive section is Vintti where one can learn the history by doing himself.
3. Suomenlinna Fortress

This is a beautiful and amazing 18th century fortress spread across in 6 linked islands. Started as a military base and later turned in to civilian administration house. This is a UNESCO World heritage site located at the entrance of Helsinki�s Harbour. The Fortress church here serves as a lighthouse. 4. Uspenski Cathedral

This is the popular Orthodox Church in Finland and attracts visitors with its fascinating architecture. The hands behind this stunning architecture are by Aleksey Gornostayev and used Byzantine Revival architecture. This is considered as the largest Orthodox Church in Western Europe. 5. Linnanmaki Amusement Park

6. Nuuksio National Park

7. Market Square

8. Temppeliaukio Church

This is an amazing rock church in Helsinki. This architectural wonder was built in late 1960s and a popular concert hall over here. The church is built with solid rocks hence known as Church of Rocks. The dome is designed in a way so as to enter the natural light into the church directly.
9. Sibelius Monument and Park

This monument is named after popular Finnish composer Jean Sibelius and the monument was made with 600 hollow large metal pipes. Most interesting thing is that when wind blows you can hear magical sounds through the holes of the pipes. The park attracts visitors with ponds, fountains, walking paths, benches etc.
10. Korkeasaari Zoo

This zoo was opened in 1889 at Korkeasaari Island. Through a ferry service you can reach over here. This is an amazing natural space with morethan 1000 species of plants and morethan 150 species of animals. This is one of the oldest zoos in the World. It conducts various breeding programmes for endangered species.
