1. Angor Wat

Angor Wat is the largest religious monument in the World and this is a UNESCO Heritage Site. This is the prime attraction for every visitor. You can find amazing waterways surrounded by the Temple. This complex spreads around 162.6 hectares and the story behind this temple is it was built as a Lord Vishnu Temple and at the end of 12th century it was transformed as a Buddhist Temple.
2. The Angkor National Museum

This museum was established in 2007 with an amazing collection of historical artifacts. 3. Bayon
Address: Angkor Thom Angkor Archeological Park, Krong Siem Reap, 17000, Cambodia.
Bayon temple is located north to Angor Wat. This temple attracts visitors with its Khmer architecture. Angor Tom; which was the capital of Mahayana Buddhist King Jayavarman VII is situated in this site. It was built in the 12th century and you can find amazing stone carvings with the faces of Avalokiteshvara.
4. Ta Prohm Temple
Address: Angkor Archaeological Park, Krong Siem Reap, Cambodia.
This 12th-century temple is popularly known as Rajavihara. The highest attractions of this temple are massive entrance and overgrown trees. It was built in the style of the Bayon Temple. In 1992, it was listed as a UNSECO Heritage site. This is one of the most visited temples in Cambodia and this temple is standing mostly as per its original condition.
5. Pre Rup
Address: Angkor Archaeological Park, Krong Siem Reap 17000, Cambodia.
This is a beautiful hilltop pyramid temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This was built as a State Temple of Khmer king Rajendravarman and attracts visitors with its stunning architecture. It was built in the year 961. You can find three large towers on each side of the entrance. The upper platform contains 5 prangs.
6. Banteay Srei
Address: Banteay Srei, Cambodia.
This is another historic temple in this site. This 10th-century temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple attracts visitors with stunning Khmer architectural style. It was built in red sandstones and has attractive carvings on the walls. This temple is popularly known as ‘jewel of Khmer art’ and they mean it.
7. Preah Khan
Address: Krong Siem Reap, Cambodia.
This 12th-century temple was built by King Jayavarman VII as an honor to his father. This is situated on the north edge of Angkor Archaeological Park. This large linear temple complex is situated in the middle of a jungle. Popular attractions of this temple are pillars, entryways, towers, corridors, shrines and ceremonial spaces.
8. Tonle Sap Lake

This is a charming lake in Siem Reap. This freshwater lake connects to the Mekong River. You can find amazing species of plants, birds, and animals around this lake. You can find attractive floating villages and homes of local communities over here.
9. Old Market

10. Prek Toal Bird Sanctuary

This sanctuary is a paradise for bird watching lovers. It houses an amazing collection of endangered species of waterbirds in Southeast Asia. You can enjoy a boat ride to see the wide varieties of birds like pelicans, ibis, storks, etc. There is a research station where you can learn more bout the bird species.
