1. Anchuthengu Fort

This was constructed in 1695 A.D. by British East India Company after getting permission from Queen of Attingal, Trivandrum. The initial purpose of this fort was to get signals from ships that were arriving from England. This was the first permanent post on Malabar Coast. The Fort is square-shaped with 4 bastions. This fort has a significant role in the Anglo-Mysore war.
2. Kovalam Beach

Kovalam is the most popular beach in Kerala and has 3 distinct beaches here that are differentiated with hard rocks named Lighthouse beach, Hauwa beach, and Samudra beach. 3. Shankumugham Beach

4. Varkala Beach

This is also known as �Papanasanam Beach� because it is used for Hindu religious purposes. Good for swimming and spending an evening from the top portion would be an unforgettable experience.
5. Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple

This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and considered as he is the King of this city by devotees. Amazing architecture is really a visual feast for visitors; it is a blend of Kerala and Dravidian architecture styles. Through three doors only you can view this reclining structure of Lord Vishnu. This is located at the east fort and this temple is also popular for mural paintings.
6. Ponmudi, Trivandrum

This is a museum is named after former Madras Governor-General, John Napier and this is a popular tourist destination for everyone in Trivandrum. This is an art and natural history museum located at Palayam. You can find various historical and archaeological from here like ancient ornaments, ivory carvings, bronze idols, Sree Chithra Art Gallery, etc. A blend of Kerala, Mughal, Chinese and Italian architectural styles used and gothic roof and minarets are really worth to visit.
8. Kanakakkunnu Palace

This palace is situated near the Napier museum and was used by Travancore kinds as their Statehouse. This is considered as the first digital garden in a public place and constructed in the ruling period of Maharaja Sree Moolam Thirunal Maharaja. 9. Agasthyakoodam Peak

This is the second-highest peak in Kerala with a height of 1890 meters above sea level and is a part of the Agasthyamala Biosphere Reserve. This is considered as a paradise for bird watching lovers. Also rich in flora & fauna especially medicinal plants and herbs. This is a favorite trekking destination but only in particular seasons. The atmosphere itself considered has medicinal qualities.
10. Veli tourist village
