Kadammanitta Devi temple is one of the prominent temples in Pathanamthitta district in Kerala. It is located within 8 km from Pathanamthitta district. It is mainly prominent for Padayani which is a notable traditional art performed inside the temple. This art form is mainly devoted to mother Goddess.The major annual festival of this temple is celebrated during the first day of the Malayalam month Medam. It is celebrated for ten days in a grand manner with huge pomp and colourful fireworks. On the tenth day of the festival is celebrated in a grand manner than the other days, this day is called as Pathamudayam.The major attraction of this festival is the traditional ritual art Padayani performed which adds more attraction to this festival among devotees.
