Ramanthali Sankarnarayana Temple is located near Payyannur in Kannur district. Sankaranarayana Temple is where the statue of God is installed in its full form. The diety of Sankaranaryana is a six feet tall figure and is a form where the right half of the statue is Siva and the left side is Vishnu. There are many manuscripts in the temple whic is between 928 and 1132 are obtained from this temple.
