About Valliyath Sree Khandakarna Temple:

Years back from the northern part (Azhvancherry) head of family and two three others came to Thirumuppam near Paravoor and stayed there for some time. Later they came to the place of present temple built a house there on midhunam rashi paadam.Afterwards two head of the family controlled these power through their prayer and spells. They built a hut and prayed for forty-one mandalakkalam and got their powers controlled at their will . The heads of family was later known as muthappan and cheriya muthappan. These temples are treated as a last hope for many incurable diseases.
